Top Racing Ambassador Giedo Van Der Garde Joins RareWine Invest. Welcome Onboard.

Becoming a Formula 1 driver had been a dream for Giedo van der Garde since he was just a little boy. And in 2013 that dream became a reality. Guido has been a prominent racing driver on the big global stage for more than a decade, and he has proven his worth.

When he is not racing around on four wheels Giedo also makes regular appearances on various TV shows in Viaplay, Dutch NOS and Late Night. He also shares his racing expert insight as a commentator on TV in connection with Formula 1.

Both on and off the road, Giedo balances professionalism, humor, expertise, and authenticity making him both recognised for his racing and personal skills. Combined with a huge amount of credibility as an expert plus his familiarity from TV, these factors and skills has been key in choosing Giedo the new ambassador for RareWine Invest.

Hidde Hoogendam who is Country Manager of RareWine Invest’s Benelux office in Amsterdam is looking forward reinforcing his team with the popular racing driver. He has watched how the prior ambassadors have been great representatives in raising awareness about wine investment in their respective countries and within their area of expertise. Furthermore, Hidde states that alternative investments are becoming more and more recognised these years – and with a great representative like Giedo, we hope even more people will become interested in low-risk alternative investments.

When he was 7 years old, Giedo told his mum that he wanted to be a Formula 1 driver one day. And for many children, that dream would have remained just that - a dream. But for Giedo, it became a reality. With the right mind set, hard work and a determination in achieving his gold he can now tick Formula 1 off his bucket list – and now he has dedicated some of his time to wine investment. He is known as a talented driver, and he also wants to be known as a successful investor, who has made stable and good investments to secures his future.

In 2002 Giedo became a world champion with a victory in The Karting World Championship. Now he is active in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), and he is also hunting a podium finish at the famous 24 hours Le Mans race. Giedo is a familiar face in the world of motorsports and soon he will be the same at RareWine Invest.

With three titles as the world’s best handball player his national and international appeal made him an obvious choice.
